COMMUNITY

It is often easier to preach the Gospel around the world than it is across the street to our friends and neighbors, but God has placed us in a community for His purpose and His glory. There are people around us everyday, people we live next to, people we work with, people we go to school with that are in need. They may not all have physical needs, but they all have spiritual needs. We have an opportunity to live Jesus in front of them, to encourage them to seek Him and to know His love.

Throughout the year, we invite our neighborhood to special events to minister to the needs from school supplies, clothing, and food. We invite them to join us at First New Testament Church’s services and be a part of the church body. We believe that everywhere we go, everyday, we are to be a vessel for the Lord to use to bring in the lost and dying people in our community.

In order to be prepared for these things, we offer times of study and preparation in sharing our faith. We hold meetings to encourage and equip believers to tell others the Good News of Jesus Christ.
